When it comes to drinks on the beach, the beach bars and the chiringuitos are a great way to spend time. Otherwise, you have the rooftops of Barcelona to keep you fresh.

We leave here some suggestions on where to go this summer.

  1. “La Isabela”

It is not hard to find this place due to its central location– just next to the touristic avenue – La Rambla. Therefore, during evening in this busy street, it is worth visiting the rooftop of this 5-star hotel to enjoy the view from its terrace. In addition to the beautiful view, the roof also includes a swimming pool, comfortable sofas and most importantly, a bar. On the menu everyone can find something for themselves – cocktails, tapas, champagnes and many more.

  1. Gran Hotel La Florida

Watch the sunset from the bar, located at the top of the Tibidabo Mountain, and it has exceptional views of the sunset, the sea and the city. The pool bar offers a relaxing atmosphere that almost feels like we are closer to the sky more than you have ever been. Sit down with a cocktail in hand, tapas from the extensive menu and give yourself time, because you should not rush in such a breathtaking place.

  1. “La Dolce Vitea”

At Passeig de Gracia, next to one of Gaudí’s most beautiful buildings, Casa Batlló, is one of Barcelona’s most luxurious terraces. It offers 5-star service and a stunning view of Passeig de Gracia Street, which is filled with designer’s shops. You can relax on the comfortable sofas next to the pool. This is an expensive place, but believe us, you will regret if you do not come here.

  1. Hotel Duquesa de Cardona

This terrace has beautiful views of the old port, with the sea, the yachts and the cruises. It is placed in one of the best locations in Barcelona – at the edge of the Gothic District- and it has sofas, palm trees and a welcome drink after a day of sightseeing. There is also a restaurant and a solarium on the roof, so if your drinks and views are not enough, this is the place for you.

  1. Skybar Grand Central

Not without a reason, Skybar is considered one of the best bars on a rooftop in Barcelona. From here you can enjoy the view of the old town, swim in the pool and soak up the sun. Resting on sun loungers is an ideal way to spend the day, especially when it comes to delicious cocktails and Mediterranean specialties. Of course, there are no excuses to not spend an evening here, admiring the skyline of Barcelona.

  1. La terraza del Claris

This five star hotel, Claris, is open in both summer and winter. There is also an indoor section where you can enjoy cocktails and fine cuisine in the cool during winter evenings when the night is still young. In the summer, starting on Thursdays, DJs start the weekend here while you can enjoy the views and try the drinks on the menu.

  1. Wet bar

Splendor and elegance are two things for which the W hotel is valued for, locally and worldly, so the same can be expected from this rooftop. Maybe it is not the highest terrace, but the views are unique – the Mediterranean Sea on one side, the beach and the beautiful city on the other. Drinks and cocktails that are made especially for you are available all day and all night. You can relax in the pool or on the sun loungers. In addition, in summer we will hear live music, which will add an additional charm to this magnificent place. You cannot miss the best happy hour on a Friday afternoon!
